Spring 2024 Testing Accommodations Notification:
Testing in the Academic Resource Center will adjust slightly as many professors have let us know that they may be using different formats for assessments rather than traditional in-person tests. Please review your syllabus carefully to identify what kind of assessments you will have.
1) Instructions for untimed online exams: If you are taking an online exam that is not timed, you do not need to notify anyone (instructors, ARC, etc.) of the need for accommodations unless the accommodations are for something other than extended time.
2) Instructions for timed online exams: If you are taking an online exam that is timed (i.e. 50 minutes or 120 minutes), you must email your faculty member two business days before the exam to request that they change your time via Moodle. Please remind your faculty on how much extra time you receive (1.5X/2X). Faculty will be able to verify this information via their ClockWork Academic Accommodations Notification Email.
3) Instructions for taking an exam in the Academic Resource Center: If you have a professor that will be giving an in-person, paper exam during normal class time and you want to take the exam in the Academic Resource Center, our system requires that you schedule to take the exam two business days prior to the exam and at a time closest to your actual class time. You may be asked to take the exam at a different time than the regular class period if your extended time accommodations conflict with other courses in your schedule, though.
Please click the schedule a test, mid-term, or quiz link in the menu in order to schedule an exam, only selecting the schedule a final exam at the appropriate time in the semester. You will be asked to login using your College of Wooster credentials to book your exam(s).
